2 quick realizations:
1) I defend my right to be a victim. How hilarious is that?!?!
2) My inner critic runs on psychological fuel made of un-tended, rising emotion. The more I self-parent, negotiate my inner needs, and find emotional expression, the less of a need he has to come out and defend me. When I do it right, he doesn’t even talk!!!
